Tony has been a Licensed Contractor since 1988 and Licensed Architect since 1992. He has two offices in Kittrell, NC and Clarksville, VA. Prior to building homes, he founded an Architectural and Engineering company growing to 55 employees over a 22 year span, his firm specialized in restaurant design and construction throughout the US and abroad. Tony also a Certified Green Professional, NAHB and enjoys piloting airplanes for his fun time. Tony Hirst has been building modular homes from his Kittrell, NC location for the past six years. In those six years he has earned national recognition for his unique modular designs as well as his superior building practices which are readily noticable in the finished homes.

Tony’s shows his passion for house design whether he is building a small starter home or a multi-million dollar home and estate. Two of Tony’s specialties are lake home designs requiring aesthetic views and elevations from multiple house sides and site planning for estates or multi-phased home projects. Tony is also one of the few area builders offering three dimensional renderings of homes and site plans. Builder - Tony Hirst is a true turn-key builder. We will work with you to find land, if necessary, and a house that fits your budget. We work with your county to acquire all relavent permits and provide necessary documents for project approval. Of course, the entire building process from clearing your site through seeding your yard once the project is finished is included in our contract.

Builder - Tony Hirst LLC is excited to have been recently recognized with three national awards by the Business Systems Council of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) for excellence in design. The Frietag residence won for house design and honorable mention for green building. The Hardin house won honorable mention for house design in the under 2,000 sq. ft. category. Tony strives to create unique designs and expand the limits of modular building. With the Frietag residence Tony created a design that utilizes Hybrid Modular Technology – HMT. HMT is a building concept created by Tony using the speed of Modular Construction and pairing it with on-site stick building techniques to surpass the limits of a typical modular manufacturer’s quality and design flexibility.

Builder-Tony Hirst is a family based company. Tony and wife Susan are owners and between them have a combined 38 years experience. Susan is in charge of marketing and sales. Three years ago a second office was opened in Clarksville, VA.
